BIOGRAPHY
Bruno Bizarro is a portuguese film/tv composer, music producer, audio engineer, pianist and keyboardist.
Main genres go from Orchestral, Instrumental to Electronic, Ambient, Synthwave, Dark Synthwave or even Cosmic Horror Synthwave and Funk.
Inspiration
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Bruno started playing the keyboard at the age of 6 and composed his first music at the age of 8. He joined his first band at the age of 14 as a keyboardist.
From there onwards, he discovered orchestral music and through childhood and teenage years he was passionately listening to pieces and composers from the Renaissance, Baroque, but mostly from the Classical and Romantic periods, like Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner among others.
Also, and with the same enthusiasm, wonder and curiosity, he listened to film music by John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Bernard Herrmann, Danny Elfman, James Horner, Ennio Morricone, just to name a few and was also very inspired by 80's and 90's pop, rock and electronic music and 70's funk.
Another big influence were musicians and composers like Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis.
All this using the wonderful world of vinyl and later CDs.
Learning
In addition to a great deal of self-education to this day, Bruno attended the Sobreda Regional Music Conservatoire in Almada, Portugal at the age of 18, where he studied Piano, Music Theory and Choir with professor Luís Pinto and also took several classes with Jorge Santos and later in Madrid with Lucía del Campo.
He graduated with an Audio Engineering Diploma at SAE Institute in Madrid, where he had teachers like Michel Martín, Eneko Candina Galparsoro, Aldo Gilardi-Magnan Atkins (Hitmakers Mastering), Nick Litwin (Mastering Mansion), Miguel Bassi, Manolo Aguilar (BMG ARIOLA), Sandro de Castro and Florian A. Schober. His Course Thesis was about film music, where he talked about some film music history, techniques and analized some film scores.
Later, while living in London, Bruno attended several workshops and Masterclasses at the Royal College of Music, with Roy Howatt and Aaron Williamon and at the Thames Valley University (Ealing) with Phil Harding (PWL Studios).
Bruno has also studied and completed the following courses:

Professional Path
After graduating from SAE Institute, Bruno did an intership at the National Spanish Radio and Television Network - RTVE (Radio Televisión Española) as an Assistant Audio Engineer both in radio broadcasting shows and at the Music Recording and Mixing Studios (pop and classical).
Later, he worked as an Artist & Record Promoter at Ovação (portuguese label), where he was the only promoter for every solo artist, bands, electronic music producers on media (Television, Radio, Online, Magazines).
Some time later, also worked as an Audio Engineer for Cinemate, a tv broadcasting company service provider (live shows and live sport events).
Bruno also worked as a Project Manager and PR at Define Fine Publishing and as a Cinema Technician (Chief Projectionist) for several years.
He is also the co-founder of Hang in There Films and the Creative Basterds with his long time, creative partner and friend António Rodrigues (writer, director, content creator and actor).
It was within the Creative Basterds, that they created the award-winning Audiotales episodes.
Simultaneously to all of this and more, Bruno, always worked as a Film Composer, Music Producer and as an Audio Engineer on several Film, TV, Theatre, Radio, Music projects.
His filmography, as a composer, includes music and sound design for the Portuguese National Television (RTP - Radio Televisão Portuguesa), SIC Channel, Portuguese Cinema Academy, Valentim de Carvalho Films, CICE, Istituto Europeo di Design, Southern Creative, Art Millimeter, Traces of Me, Tangible Matter, among others.
In addition, Bruno won several international awards and nominations with his music for film:

In 2021, Bruno released his first soundtrack album "What's Left? (Original Soundtrack)".
In 2022, released the electronic/synthwave single "Running Away From What" followed by the electronic single "Centaurianaut" in 2023, available on all platforms.
Bruno has, to date, been invited twice to be part of the jury of the Sophia Student Awards of the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, in the animation and experimental categories.
